CHALLENGE
Faced with the challenges of creating a space that adapts to evolving community needs, maintains financial sustainability, and fosters a strong sense of local identity and belonging, our project adopted a community-centered design approach that has yielded transformative solutions.
OPPORTUNITY
Our approach unlocks the potential for a Resource Center that dynamically evolves with the community, fostering cultural engagement and ensuring long-term viability through innovative design and strategic resource use.
Listening
Empowering Youth and Addressing Housing Needs
The partnership includes the development of vocational training programs aimed at equipping underserved youth with skills in housing assembly and construction. This initiative is expected to create significant job opportunities and contribute to addressing the affordable housing crisis in the region. The LIME Foundation will work closely with Homes 4 the Homeless, VESSEL & Defining Humanity to implement these programs, in collaboration with local educational institutions and community organizations.
